En la entrevista con Lito 808 (Eduardo Rosales), el productor comparte su historia desde Ecatepec, Estado de México, donde además de hacer música lleva un pequeño negocio de marketing digital. Su entrada al mundo sonoro fue orgánica: primero como espectador, creciendo entre reuniones con músicos y quedándose clavado con las grandes producciones de los “bailes” de regional mexicano. Más tarde, con la fiebre del EDM, descubrió la electrónica en fiestas de CDMX, y en 2018 cuando compró su primer controlador entendió algo que lo marcó: cómo un solo track puede mover y controlar la energía de un montón de gente.
Lito cuenta que empezó a producir desde los 20, pero que a los 24 se puso serio: estudió teoría musical para profesionalizarse. Arrancó en FL Studio y hoy produce en Ableton Live. Su ADN musical está atravesado por ritmos latinos y africanos, con la salsa como pilar por el peso de las percusiones. Él define su sonido con una frase perfecta: “música para cavernícolas” o sea tracks hechos para ser 100% bailables, aunque no “sepas” bailar, puro impulso primitivo del cuerpo.
Sobre su nueva canción “Aletrago”, presentado por La Chekera Rec, Lito explica que nació desde una base rítmica tribal (percusión al frente, estructura para la pista) pero con un giro personal: su amor por el folclor de la CDMX y por los sonidos sintéticos del High Energy, al que le rinde homenaje con un sinte que te transporta directo a ese universo sin perder el golpe tribal. Compuso la canción en La menor melódica para que todo se sienta oscuro y tenebroso, y encima metió su voz susurrada, profunda y súper procesada.
La idea central no es “rave tradicional”, sino una visión de la noche en CDMX como un espacio más intenso: una fiesta que se vuelve ritual. De hecho, dice que lo más importante del track es cómo juega con esa incomodidad: empieza bailable y poco a poco se pone más denso, casi perturbador, como si la misma base rítmica se transformara en algo hipnótico. Cierra con un detalle bien personal: un poema breve e “indescifrable” escrito por él, inspirado en An American Prayer de Jim Morrison.

In the interview with Lito 808 (Eduardo Rosales), the producer shares his story from Ecatepec, Estado de México, where besides making music he also runs a small digital marketing business. His entry into the world of sound was organic: first as a spectator, growing up around gatherings with musicians and becoming obsessed with the massive productions of regional Mexican bailes. Later, during the EDM wave, he discovered electronic music at parties in Mexico City, and in 2018, when he bought his first controller, he understood something that stayed with him: how a single track can move and control the energy of a whole crowd.
Lito says he started producing at 20, but got serious about it at 24, when he studied music theory to professionalize himself. He started out in FL Studio and now produces in Ableton Live. His musical DNA is shaped by Latin and African rhythms, with salsa as a core pillar because of the weight of its percussion. He defines his sound with a perfect phrase: “music for cavemen” — in other words, tracks made to be 100% danceable, even if you don’t “know” how to dance, driven purely by the body’s primitive impulse.
Speaking about his new song “Aletrago,” released through La Chekera Rec, Lito explains that it was born from a tribal rhythmic foundation — percussion up front, a structure built for the dancefloor — but with a personal twist: his love for Mexico City folklore and for the synthetic sounds of High Energy, which he pays tribute to with a synth that takes you straight into that universe without losing the tribal punch. He wrote the track in A melodic minor so everything would feel dark and ominous, and on top of that he layered his own whispered, deep, heavily processed voice.
The core idea is not a “traditional rave,” but rather a vision of nightlife in Mexico City as something more intense: a party that turns into a ritual. In fact, he says the most important thing about the track is the way it plays with discomfort: it starts out danceable and gradually becomes denser, almost disturbing, as if the very same rhythmic base were transforming into something hypnotic. It closes with a very personal touch: a short, “indecipherable” poem written by him, inspired by An American Prayer by Jim Morrison.
